What to expect on your visit

Initial appointments are provided in person in our Nashua office to better assess the whole individual. When you arrive at Tranquil Minds of New England, you will be warmly greeted and invited into a welcoming office space.  Your provider will conduct a comprehensive review of your medical and mental health history. This includes discussing any past diagnoses, treatments, medications, and relevant family history.  Your provider will use  assessment tools or standardized questionnaires as well as conversational interview to  gain a deeper understanding of your emotional and psychological well-being.

You will have the opportunity to openly discuss your current mental health concerns, symptoms, and any specific goals or expectations you have for your treatment. Based on the assessment and discussion, your provider will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan. This plan may include medication, therapy recommendations, lifestyle changes, or other interventions.

Subsequent visits may be conducted telehealth or inperson based on the clients needs and preferences.

Comprehensive Evaluation

Comprehensive ongoing evaluation is a fundamental aspect of mental health care, providing a dynamic and evolving understanding of an individual's mental health status, treatment progress, and overall well-being. It involves a range of modalities, including comprehensive conversational interviews, assessment tools or questionnaires, collaboration with therapists or loved ones, lab testing including genesight testing if appropriate and referral for neuropsychiatric evaluation when necessary.  Evaluation is an ongoing process as we continually reassess an individual's mental health status, treatment progress, and overall functioning to support the well-being and recovery of our clients.

My Approach

Medication Management

We use medications in conjunction with nutrition, supplements and lifestyle changes to improve mental health and wellbeing.  Medications can provide relief of symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD and mood instability.  With reduced symptoms, individuals can engage more fully in therapy leading to more meaningful discussions.

Medications are highly personalized to achieve the best outcomes with the fewest medications possible. Decisions about starting or changing medications are always collaborative based on a discussion between the client and provider about the risks, benefits, and possible side effects.  The addition of supplements and lifestyle changes such as exercise, mediation and dietary changes enhance medications to provide more rapid improvement in symptoms and better outcomes.  Medications, supplements and lifestyle changes are continually reassessed for their effectiveness and need as treatment progresses
